MANILA, Philippines – Lahat ng Pilipino na darating sa Pinas mula sa Hubei, China ay isasailalim sa 14-day quarantine ayon kay Justice Undersecretary Mark Perete.
“Immigration procedures and formalities for repatriated overseas Filipinos from parts of China will be handled by a special team of immigration officers. The team has undergone briefings conducted by the BoQ and will be provided with the necessary protective gear,” Statement ni USEC. Perete sa mga reporters.
Ilang netizens naman ang nadismaya kung bakit mga Pilipino lang ang required na magpa-quarantine habang walang problemang nakakapasok sa bansa ang mga Chinese.

Thank you but… there’s a diffference between “stop issuing visas” & banning entry of individuals coming from China, especially Wuhan. Those with existing visas can still come here. Also, is the 14 day mandatory quarantine just for Filipinos who’ve had travel history to Wuhan??
